    Hi Nielly Looks like I have no choice but to source to tool. I dont weld so cant make one. Can you point me to where I can buy the crank locking tool online. I can get the locking pins pretty cheap on fleabay but the crank locking tool gets pricey in Australian $ Cheers

    Thanks for the reply guys. So if if I have the flywheel locking pin in place I am ok to torque up. Will this break under the pressure? Will the put in gear with brakes on work for my auto ( sorry should have said it was auto on initial post). Thanks in advance Cheers

    Preparing for TB change and have crank bolt loose. After changing the belt and tensioner etc can the crank bolt be tightened without having to buy the special crank holding tool? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
