Actually the dimming of headlights kind of makes sense ,also I don’t do much night time driving but I go through Several tunnels regularly and thought what’s going on with the headlights.
When I flick the light switch on the temperature gauge flies into the red zone and as soon as I turn it off it drops back to normal. I’m assuming it’s an earth issue. Any ideas where I start to look?
300 tdi engines are pretty easy to get going,I once swopped an engine over and the new engine fired up straight away with no bleeding at all ,I mean immediately.however usually just cracking a injector will be enough . Don’t let it run dry!
You can buy steel replacement bottom half of the door and paint frame and inside of door before fitting with sika or similar .its on the cards for mine after recently filling and painting the aluminium and its bubbled up all ready
Made a gear lock out of stuff I had lying about and before anyone starts I’m well aware it won’t stop em with an angle grinder but all part of the slowing down process that hopefully would encourage em to bugger off elsewhere.
You will hate it after one week, it’s not an engine for this century especially on your shores with cheap gas prices ,I remember tackling steep hills with a line of traffic behind me ,still gives me the shivers .
