hi new to freelander are they easy to do

Change it pronto before it snaps and destroys gearbox or rips a brake line off ,they go off with quite a bang....

Rear Prop shaft joint worn, but not excessively (6.1.7 (c) (i)) this was on mot last week but now have droning noise and odd clunk
