I've never been up there through the week, its always weekends I turn up. Sometimes its only one or two 4X4's up there and other times it quite a bit more. They do have club meetings and I believe they are busy but I've not made it to one yet.

I might just take your advice on that and do the suspension lift and bigger wheels for starters. See how I get on from there. I'm just back from another little trip to Glentarkie again.

I wasn't planning on doing a massive amount of changes, but after reading and seeing some of the posts here, I'm going to at least go for a 2" body lift with the same 2" suspension lift a good set of wheels and tires and maybe some other bits and pieces. I'll keep you posted and take some pics...

My first trip off road at Glentarkie doing some mild hill climbs, descents and water crossings before doing a few mods I have in mind. It was very capable standard and I was very surprised how well it coped. looking forward to adding some mods as well as a good set of wheels and tires.

Thanks all, now to get busy searching the site, since I'm 3 days into owning my Disco and already its died on me on my way to work, hopefully just needing a new battery. Perhaps a bit more serious is the strange noise that i think is coming from the auto box. Joy :-)
