Hi I've had my synergy/pierburg MAF fitted for 9 months and had no issues with my 55 plate TD4

Synergy 2 and Pierburgh MAF Set on no. 7 Averaging 37-38 mpg

Have you changed the HP fuel pump or just the regulator ? Sounds exactly what I was getting and it was the HP pump in the end

Stick a couple of LED sidelights in from eBay to match the White light, paid £5.95 for mine and they are fine, transforms the car

Just fitted the night breakers and some LED sidelights off eBay, very pleased with the result from both, whiter and brighter light where before the original bulbs were very yellow and dull

the cutting out sounds like the symptoms I had, started cutting out at 2500-3000 rpm and gradually got worse over the space of a few days, until eventually i couldnt drive over 30mph and had tobe really light on the throttle. I had already replaced the wheel arch fuel pump and fuel pressure...

If you've bypassed the EGR you can use that solenoid as they are both the same, just need to swap a small filter over ��

And for the record I'm getting 38.3 mpg, mix of urban and a/b roads, EGR bypassed and Millers Eclipse in every tank, and I'm quite heavy footed and yet to refit my Synergy 2a

Just a suggestion to save you some cash, if you remove the EGR and refit a new blank one you can swap the turbo boost solenoid with the EGR solenoid as they are both the same, I have done that with my 55 plate FL1 and its fine. You just need to swap over a small filter thats attached to the side...
