What are the rules to removing seats when it come to mot's? If there not fitted then they can't be tested? Or is it a fail?

The main reason for doing it is im changing my job, so as a agricultural engineer i need to carry all of my tools so im thinking of making more space. Im trying to hunt down a commerical conversion kit with a bulkhead etc. That why i ask.

Hi all, a bit of advise needed please, im thinking of converting my d2 7seater to a commerical, so basically removing the rear seats for more space. Is there anything i need to know before i do that. Also will it affect MOT or need to tell the DVLA or change it on the logbook? Or it maybe not...

Update: I have managed to seal the valve! I used Holdite jointing compound. I works really well. The orings are a special rubber compound indicated by the orange colour. Im still searching for the correct type. I even have our stores people at work trying!

Im not sure if this is any use to anyone but my SLS valves are leaking so i stripped them down this evening and took a few pictures for everyone to see whats inside. Mine need new orings that im trying so source/find correct size. Unless anyone has any ideas about sealing between the oring and...

Right chaps, it is the bloody valve block leaking, i pumped it right up, and left it over night also unplugged the valves, still flat on the floor. Got back from work tonight, pumped it right up and sprayed leak detector on valve block and left it for 10/15 mins and there is loads of bubbles...

The other thing i noticed today poking around is the brake fluid is black like engine oil, i know that it needs changing, was wondering if the fluid breaking down would cause clutch issues?

All sorted removed and cleaned all sensors again, replaced the MAF and sorted now hopefully!
