    Think it's the fuel pump, chains and cam seem fine, bit peed off really the pump is a bosch recon unit from euro car parts three months ago!

    Not been able to get at it yet but if I look through the oil filler cap opening the cam is spinning when cranked? Praying it's not chain failiure!

    As per the title, I was crossing the Severn bridge today on an errand when a stone or similar hit the windscreen slap bang in the middle, it has left a nasty chip 'bout the size of a 5p, if I have the chip repaired will it leave that section of the heated windscreen inoperable?

    got them working, cleaned the connections at the becm end, the floor is wet under the carpet, guess I am looking at time to replace the o rings on the heater matrix?

    Morning guys, 2000 2.5 DSE. My number plate lights have both stopped working simultaneously, Tried swapping for new bulbs but nothing. In work at the minute so got no tools other than a screwdriver! Does anyone know which fuse they run off so I can at least check that for now.

    Guessing neither, if the bolts were loose the timing of the fuel pump needs to be checked to at least confirm it is correct.
