Hi, I am complete newbie as far as Landrovers. Never had one, but i always wanted to have one. So finally i am thinking to buy used/old Series 3 or Defender and do complete restoration. It will take me a long time and learning / reading a lot of your posts - but hopefully be able to do it...

Time - hopefully no problem, but i am not in a rush to finish it, i want to do it correct... parts - most likely I would get most of them (chassis and all heavy parts) shipped together by sea freight - should be ok (probably around 1500 pounds for shipping). Import tax - should be standard 8%.
