Would changing the bottom block also mean swapping the sump got the original Disco sump?

The belt belt I use now is AV10x1050. Much bigger than the original 10x1025.

Right so I had a Disco 200tdi bottom block transplanted in to my otherwise defender 200tdi. All ancillaries and water pump etc taken from the original defender engine and put on the new block. Now the book says a defender 200tdi takes 6.85ltrs of oil and a Disco 200tdi takes 5.8 ltrs how much...

Right, so this has me baffled. I've got a 1991 110 Defender 200tdi CSW. I've done a galved chassis and new chassis loom in the last 12 months. Couldn't afford to go full whammy with bulkhead and loom so that's a plan for the future. So she's been running fine until I left her for a week or so...

Wouldn't replacing the tub to a puma tub just solve all of these issues?
