Thanks, got the idea now, had a wee look today and there is too much travel on the arm, so I guess it's a strip down and find out what's up. Cheers Davy

Is there any adjustment in the clutch? seems to be too much travel on the arm coming out of the clutch housing. I can manually push the arm back into the slave, but it then comes straight back out. Could there be a problem with master cyl?? regards Davy

Very hard to push them out, not sure if your M22 will do the job, the tool from landrover has a hydraulic centre full of grease, you tighten it up with large threaded section, then you wind in the centre part which in turn pushes out the bal joint, well in theory that is. Any way the new ball...
