    P38A MOT today it failed

Sounds like it is running rich, depending where the blow is it could think there's more air in the mix and dump more fuel in to compensate, get that blow sotyed first. Whats your mpg like? Check the fuel trims in nanocom. Did you get it running properly, i.e all 8?

    P38 Alarm Control Module issues.

Out of interest, did it flash on on the dash 'alarm fault' when you put the key in? Mine did for ages, replaced the ultrasonic sensor on the b-pillar and that sorted it. As for the battery drain, I just disconnected the blue wire and no problems since, not paying the money they want for a...

Range rover P38 starting and running problems

hmmm, sounds like the throttle position sensor or injection timing pump, ideally you need it plugged in to see if there are any codes in there. Get the biggest battery that will fit, they use a lot of power starting up and really don't like low voltages (as all p38's don't). Any messages/lights...

Range rover P38 starting and running problems

My old dse took 2-3 glow plug cycles to get her to fire up but as yours have been replaced (including #4?) that shouldn't be the issue. When idling does she hunt around?

Range rover P38 starting and running problems

Hi Jane, Generic readers can't access all the RR systems, you need to get it read with a nanocom or hawkeye, these can also read live data from the sensors. Does it rev freely? When you say she fires after a lot of effort, is that from cold or hot?

    P38A Water lose.

The tank caps are designed to release at a certain pressure so the tank or system doesn't blow. Could be as simple as a faulty cap, I'd start by replacing that.

    P38A old problem back

Thanks Grrrrr, I'm going to have to take the headlining out before it gets ruined, was replaced not long ago. When i had a look the last time it was coming from the seam, can't find the photos now, so though attacking it from the top may do the trick. Starting to run out of ideas now!
