Hi Chaps Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this 4th gear problem. I have a 1995 300tdi auto disco. I can only get into 4th when i get to 50mph other than that i am in 3rd all the time on straight runs. Someone told me that there is a sensor that might need replacing or i have to reset it...

There is a G-D!! With a lot of straining finally got the lever to move to the right. Gonna let it soak and sort it out. Just got to put centre consule back plus all the other gubbins... Thank you all for your input and help!!!!!

Hi Chaps Stripped the centre consule out and the gater etc to get to the links. Given it a good spray with wd40. Just have to wait and see. Just a bit confused though. The lever moves backwards and forwards but is it supposed to move left and right? Just spoke to my brother who was in...

Hi wonder if anyone can help. Decided to put my disco in 4 wheel drive today because of the snow. There was a clunk but went into gear. Changed back into normal drive no probs. The icon for 4 wheel drive is lit on the dashboard and will not go out. No big deal probably the switch has got stuck...

How do you heat your fuel?

Been doing it for a while. No probs as of yet. Run on 50/50 for a while thne did 100%. Landy seemed to have more power. Was worried about starting in the mornings though. Read some alarming articles. Also it all depends what pump you have. Bosch is the best!!
