From what I gather the SM hourly rate is the lowest in the area so well worth a try if you have a big project to undertake.

Hi Guys, I have just picked up a Defender 90 Utility 2.4TDCi (MY2011) and I was wondering if any of you were using engine oil other than the factory recommended Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 A1 variant (Fully synthetic). FYI: I change my oil every 6-months while my annual mileage will be circa 6-7K...

Right guys, I visited Pete and the team at Spanner Monkey's today and I have to say that I was impressed by their help. I'll be using them again for other things in the near future. Good prices too (which I'm sure will be of interest to a few of you);)

Take the £70K and buy between 10-12 x older 300Tdi Defenders; stick them in a garage and watch your investment increase in value over the next few years.:D

It will have to be a very well thought out process but they seem like a good bunch. That being said, a subject of this nature will challenge their patience for sure.
