Scuppered by the dark at the moment. Had it wired up to battery in garage, seems to work fine in vertical position. Using small size blade connectors on the plug pins as I don't have the fancy main plug. Aiming to plumb it in this week and attach my Maplin buzzer to it if I can get home early...

Sorry, need to update my signature. Its the good lady's Freelander 1.8S MY01. Managed to push miles of spaghetti through bulk head in 110, Freelander another matter altogether....sound proofing, fire proofing, no rust....all new to me.

Before I start removing loads of trim, any suggestions as to best place to run wiring between engine bay and cabin? Is there a convenient hole/grommet somewhere to poke through? No hole obvious without removing bits in engine bay. Not bothered which side! ( ....(Haven't had so much...

Ok, got one of these fellas to fit as a low coolant sensor PCF500060: Got no instructions. Has anyone got a photo of one of these installed? I presume it fits this was up (i.e. vertical) in the header tank outlet, but at what height is the top placed at. Just below the low coolant line or...

I'm a member. Nice site, although not huge. Some amusingly deep water (personally been involved with the drowning of two 90's) and fun steep climbs. Club house with coffee, jet wash, rescue ranger and loo too! Biggest downside is that you have to pay for yearly membership rather than on the day.

Was wanting to fit an inexpensive coolant level senser to the Good Lady's 1.8 Time Bomb (Freelander 1 2000). Looking for an inexpensive solution (i.e not a Brown and Gammons £90 job if possible) that doesn;t involve holes in the tank. Has anyone fitted one of these (whatever it is)...
