Talking tyres, what pressures do people run. Having fitted new tyres I put the recommended 28 front 38 rear. Now I feel every bump, which on my drive to work is a pain in the arse

Sorted the pads. I had after 2001 ones but needed pre 2001. Cheers for the advice

I'm assuming there are different thicknesses of pads. If I can find some down the shop first thing, with the same profile and a bit thinner I'm sorted. If not its out with the grinder.

Can do photos tomorrow morning. Stutab, I measured the two pads and the disk at 49mm and the gap in the calliper ignoring the pistons at 48mm. Somethings not right.

Same as that! Just seems everything I do leads into another problem atm. Tyres were wearing thin so put four 2nd hand tyres on. One of which had a puncture :mad: with the rear wheels off I noticed the disc were in pretty bad nick. Go to buy new disc and pads, turns out my 110 shouldn't have...

Hi guys. Had a problem with the 110 today. Waterpump bearings collapsed dropping the belt and chewing up the housing a bit. Question is do I need to replace the housing with this groove worn in it. New one is £200 plus or 30-50 on eBay. Would be nice not to have to, but I can see that it might...

Wahey the 110 is back on the road sailed through the mot. And today I got to do the thing I missed the most, take my bike up the woods. :D

Ah I can't wait to go laning again. But it's just sorting the tyres and mot time next week, then I think I might live in the lr for a week. Already found the most comfortable sleeping position today. :)

Wise words, no doubt I'll pay the price at some stage. I do plan a complete nut and bolt referb in a couple years once I've finished my degree. Hopefully I'll have more money and time to do a proper job. Until then it's gaffa tape
