Has anyone had any issues with the rain sensor failing on the wipers on a Disco 4 please? The intermittent setting just seems to go on time delays rather than the sensor whereas it used to work properly... Thanks

For some totally random reason, my CD player in my 2014 Discovery has decided to display the track list in what I guess as Chinese symbols?!?!? I've googled it to no avail... Any advice or help would be very much appreciated! Cheers

Have you tried measuring it? That would be the first thing I'd do....

No fault codes reported - my mechanic did a scan couple of weeks ago as the ABS light stays on until you move forwards as it was flagged up on the MOT...

Hi, not sure if this a common problem or not... I haven't had my puma too long, and if I set off and nearly stall it from stand still (on the rare occasion), the engine fails to rev up and let me set off again. I can sit there for a good 10 / 15 seconds again until it eventually revs...

Thanks - I tried all the usual suppliers, Paddocks, Craddocks, Bearmach, Rimmer Bros. all of whom were not able to help! The main stealers wanted £700 odd quid for the newer replacement which comes with the hoses and brackets etc. Ridiculous!!!

It has worn through the actual plastic tank as it has been rubbing on the guard plate beneath it. I have managed to source a used one from a breaker online which arrived today. Off to the workshop for fitting later. Thanks everyone for your input and time to respond to my post :-)

Hi, just been advised that my 2008 Defender 90 has failed its MOT on a leaky fuel tank. My mechanic is trying to source a replacement, but has been told by Paddocks, Craddocks etc. that the fuel tanks were later modified to stop this problem recurring and there aren't any aftermarket...

I bought some BF Goodrich KO2's and wanted to upsize to 265/75/16 which I did, but it then failed the MOT on them slightly rubbing on steering full-lock. I subsequently fitted 30mm wheelspacers which stopped them rubbing. It looks awesome, much more road presence with the wider tyres and spacers...

My 300Tdi easily cruises at 70mph. Never stretched it beyond 75 to be honest. I tow my 2.5 town trailer at 60mph with ease.

I get around 220 to 250 miles to a tank of derv in my 300Tdi. This works out at around 21mpg. This is generally urban work and doesn't really fluctuate even if a lot of it is towing my 2-Ton trailer.
