I forgot to mention that I am planning on using the same mcpherson configuration front and rear. Same uprights, same struts, same brakes, all the same. Might not be the best solution but I believe it´ll be the simplest ;)

Hi SES88. Thanks for the fast answer! When you´re referring to the mountings, do you mean the strut tower or the upright/hub carrier? I am only interested in whether rear struct could be bolted to the front upright. I will have to fabricate the brackets for the top part of the strut anyway...
