please note im not thick lol..... I bought the car with the misfire so someone else had left the washer there!!!!!!

well thanks everyone !!!! what a superb forum ive sorted it today!!! picked the injector up went to fit it noticed it looked raised to the others cleaned the port and what was at the bottom another copper washer took the washer off the injector fitted the injector no misfire no smoke very...

dove only had the 1 injector tested and it was at fault trying to penny pinch!! gonna try swapping injectors 1+2 over see what happens

thanks for the reply saint ...... just been outside now and looked down the port and noticed some carbon build on the wall do you think this could be the problem ?? how do i reset the trims ??........ and do you have any idea what the pressure should be reading at the rail and at each...

well had a slight misfire removed injectors 1 looked like the culprit!!! had this one checked first and it was at fault !!........re-fitted all injectors ran the car still bit of a mis-fire put a forte diesel treatment in the car ran for 60-70 miles still no change mis-firing and smoking...

well thanks everyone for your replies ........fitted a NEW starter today not that bad of a job managed to get fuel up to rail cracked a couple of injectors got diesel to them refitted inlet manifold and she fired first time which made me a very happy range rover owner again :D just need to sort...

anyone got a cheap starter motor:D

doesn't seem to be getting fuel to the rail car was running starting fine up til this when I turn ignition on I can here fuel through the pipes at the filter

ok had a misfire removed injectors for testing 1 at fault had this repaired refitted them and now cant seem to bleed the system up is there an easy way to do this as im now pulling my hair out with this :(

do you know anyone who repairs the black harmon kardon amplifiers by any chance .....cheers

its more of a untuned radio noise...I can tune in to a local station but just the same sound.. is this the same datatek ??

yeah im just getting the hissing crackling noise and i can turn it up and down with the volume control is there any way of testing the aerial amp?? seen a few of these on ebay around £40 do they have to be the exact model number though ?? anyone know??..........;)

so could the problem be the aerial amp then as im getting sound just no stations!!!......:confused:

thanks hippo i was thinking it might of been the radio amp the small silver box with the freq range on as im getting sound from all speakers but no music when i tune the radio in ?..........what does the harmon kardon one actually do then??

ok not sounding too thick i hope which is the DSP unit is this the most unit or the unit that says TMC or the unit that says HARMON KARDON ha ha ha ha im new too this car :confused::confused::confused::
