Does anyone know if I can swap a petrol 4.0 P38 auto box into a diesel 2.5 as a straight swap ??

I have a 1998 90 with original paint on it but need to get the back end painted - anyone know how to get the original code for the paint? There is a tin pate inside engine bay with " colour code" written on it but no number. There is another number on a sticker close by - 1.68 - is this anything...

Hi - I have a 98' 90 defender van and would like to install rear bench seating! What is the legality of putting seats in the back? Do I need seat belts and how many people can I legally carry once installed? Do I need windows etc...... Cheers

Hi anyone know where to get the replacement lower window runners ( the ones that are on the front and back of the lower part of the inside of the drivers door that the window drops into) for my 98 90? At the moment the glass is all loose in the frame! Cheers

I have just replaced the front spring(s) and shocks on my 90 with standard britparts gaz replacements but now that the vehicle is on the ground it looks like its sitting too high!! Checked the springs and they seem the same height as the old ones - there is no numbers or letters on the new ones...

Yup -selling my 1995 90 defender - just bought newer one! It's red, almost full history print out - 111k miles mot till may , some minor dings and some welds underneath but generally excellent - used every day! I'm nr Edinburgh

I have just ordered a new rear crossmember for my 1998 90 defender from Black sheep! Has anyone fitted one? Does anyone know anyone who could do it and weld up an outrigger in West Lothain? Cheers
