P38A Range Rover Reluctant sale of expedition vehicle

why not, it's better than some so called expedition prep'd vehicles. Gotta sell it as house sold and no where to keep it And there were no issues in the Sahara unlike the 90's we went with.

P38A Range Rover Reluctant sale of expedition vehicle

Wouldn't really call it a leak, it has the odd drop. Been in the garage for two months and there's no oil on the floor. It was an advisory on the MOT but can't really see where. Cheers

Hi all, Anyone near Halifax that could reset the airbag light on my '98 P38 Diesel in exchange for some beer tokens? It's currently on a SORN so can't drive it anywhere and need the fault clearing for MOT. Cheers Adam

What has happen to the adventurism with Defender owners.

It must have been. Every time we stopped it was table out and tiffin time ;)

What has happen to the adventurism with Defender owners.

Agreed. We took spare wheel bearings, brake callipers, hoses and more fluids than the car could use. We used none of them. We didn't even get a flat tyre and we did some miles, just over 5k if i remember and in a P38 :) James broke his motor showing off to Rachel otherwise we'd have probably...

WE took air con out of our Rangy. You're in and out of the car a lot in the desert and there's no point. You'll get acclimatised after a day or so anyway. It's better driving with the windows open anyway  We've turned our air con pump into a compressor for on board air. Works a treat!:)

    Western Sahara Charity Drive 2016

Where are you planning to aim for? We have the names of a few garages in Morocco, but it all depends on your intended route. If you're going solo i guess you'll be avoiding most of the dunes and remote areas and sticking to tarmac (mostly) roads. Cheers Adam

Were these the dates you were on about Mike? IIRC, Chris was going to stop longer as it was his, er milestone birthday, so wanted to see more and not rush?
