Does anybody know any good locations for having some fun in my disco? Im in sheffield and dont really want to travel for hours to get there

When i painted my series i used machine ennable paint and just brushed is straight on. If you use a good brush then you can get a good surface. didnt bother with a preimer just gave it 2 coats. I also did the chassis and that was still going strong a year afterwards when i sold it

GOing to take the sender unit out and have a look at thet to see if it is broke, but first i want to test the wires/guage. I have heard mention about earthing a connection and if the wire etc are ok then the guage will read full. How exactly would i do this?

any suggestion on how this may be fixd or should i a) live with it b) get a nw sender unit

A quick update, i had a look at the connections on the sender unit, the earth( at least i think it was) seemed very rusty so i cleaned it up a bit but that did not work it still read empty even though there is still plenty of derv in the tank

The low fuel light is constantly on in my 93 200tdi, I know there is planty of derv in the tank because i just put £50 in it. Its been like this for a couple of weeks now. It will occaisionally read as normal for about 10 mins and then decied to go back to reading empty and the light comes back...

i took it out for a run and the dial was set to blow at the highest setting but there was nothing blowing out and all the vents were open, and then all of a sudden it started blowing, after about 30 seconds it stopped again, it has not blown since. It was on the cold air setting so i dont know...

just got my hands on a 93 200 tdi disco. A couple of issues, 1) when i select 2nd gear from 1st or 3rd there is some crunching, it only does this if i try and change gears quickly and if the revs are high, above 2000. 2) The heater does not work. it doesnt blow any air at all. Any suggestions...

decided to forget all the troubles of swopping with swopping the engine and i have bought a 200tdi disco instead and sold the series 3. thanks for the comments
