    I tried this and it didnt work, it still leaked past the o-rings, it a bitch of a job, i would reccommend just replacing as it is a pain in the arse to change, and to do it twice is even worse, be quick also, I left mine and it took out the starter motor as well, all the diesel was dripping on it

    They were sticking as 1 pad had about 5mm left and the other had 15mmm left. 1 of the guide pins was jamming which I thought was the problem, so i regreased both and swapped them round and they were nice and smooth then in and out no problem

    Not sure, have not used it since last year, will have to try it out. I have only had this problem since draining the water coolant and refilling so thought it must be related....posibly a sensor gone etc...:rolleyes:

    YES!!!:p Heater/aircon unit is switched off, it runs from when the engine is started until the engine is shut off, its only started to do this since replacing the coolant:confused:

    cheers guys, the pistons are all still shiny and smooth, I have read somewhere that one brake sticking can be the master cylinder too?, just dont want to fork out £70 for a caliper and then find its the master thats all. so you would recommend a new caliper?

    :D no, ive not added an electric fan, and I know the viscous fan runs all the time, the fan I refer to is at the front on the first radiator, behind the grill. It runs all the time the engine is running ever since i drained and refilled the cooling system.

    thougt I had a trackong problem as the car would pull to the left slighty....noticed when braking that the steering would then be straight, i assumed the brake was stuck on. Took the caliper off and sprayed WD40 under the seals and worked the pistons in/out a few times, they seemed to have got...
