The disco won't start. its a 300 tdi, P reg. Power is getting to the starter motor but there's just a whirring noise. I don't think it's engaging. The cruise control has packed up on my Preg 300 tdi ES. When i press the button the light comes on but when i set the speed with the steering wheel switch all i get is a faint clicking from the passengers side footwell. This is where the ECU is. Any advice? Thx Ian

the disco 300tdi ES has air con that is making a little squeeking noise. probably the bearings. anyway, can the drive belt be removed to isolate the air-con as i don't use/need it. from what i can see nothing else is run from the belt. Thx Ian

i get a judder when i give the discovery 300 tdi any heavy throttle above 3000 rpm. feels like fuel starvation. below 3000 or light accelerating throttle and everything is fine. could this be air in the lines/somewhere? thx Ian
