Hi,a friend of mine has a disco 2 manual that is losing brake fluid.They have had all the brake system checked and had the clutch hydraulics checked as well with no sigh of any leakage.There is no fluid visable inside drivers foot well either. Any ideas?

Hi,there is a cable that pulls the catch when you press the button,the cable has a hook on the end and it snaps off.You cant buy the cable you have to buy the solenoid and cable.You also need the bottom tail gate trim panel as you have to break the old one of. Hope this helps.

Td5 Discovery with an electrical fault.When switching engine off it continues to run and all the dash lights glow at you. Sometimes it wont open the doors with remote and alarm goes off. Sometimes with engine running and you open the drivers door main beam light will come on. Any thoughts Thanks.

hi,no smoke while cranking only smoke is when it starts to fire but nothing excessive and when running no smoke.

I HAVE LOST MY KEYS FOR MY TD5:mad: BUT HAVE BOUGHT A NEW FOB AND KEY AND HAD THE KEY CUT TO SUIT(DONT NO HOW THEY DONE THAT)ANY WAY THE ALARM IS ON AND WILL NOT DE-ACTIVATE AND THEY CANNOT GET INTO THE BODY CONTROL UNIT WITH TEST BOOK TO PROGRAMME THE NEW KEY. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT:)

Boys success,nearside front drive shaft was the culprit.After using a donar shaft we had a smooth ride again.Thanks for your input.

You Need A Injector Puller To Get Them Out Sorry Using A Pry Bar Might Just Damage Them

Get Your Self A Length Of Hose That Will Fit Snuggly Into The Neck Of Your Header Tank And Connect The Other End To A Container With Coolant In It And Hang It From Your Bonnet And Leave It Over Night If You Can And Let Gravity Do The Rest,it Might Just Help Your Cause. Good Luck:)

I Agree Its Total Crap,i Have Had All Td5 Head Jobs Skimmed With No Problems. Skim And Pressure Test,set Of Bolts,head Gasket(thickest One),new Injector Seals. Run Great With No Problems.:)

After further investigation I found that some numpty had fitted a one way valve in the fuel line and it had semi collapsed. Runs great now thanks for the advice.
