Sorry, Mercedes Benz sorted the towing a auto box with its wheels on the ground, in the 80's. The ZF box in your Disco can not be towed like that unless the transfer box is in neutral.

do you have a 4HP24 gearbox? or maybe just the complete oil pump/stator for one?

Is anybody going to buy this on this forum for parts. I am in Australia and would like some specific gearbox parts if it's a autobox. Maybe we could come to some agreement, pm me if there may be someone interested, or just reply here.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are you mapping in this set up? and how do you do it? Are you using a resistor with your coil? How good is the distributor shaft and bushes, is there any play? How good is the earths on the vehicle? This may be to late, maybe you got it fixed.

Been a bit busy.........a quick update I have completed the rear suspension, removed the gearbox to repair the rear main oil seal and decided while it is out I will give it a complete overhaul and full HP24 upgrade, if all goes well I will be fitting it this weekend. I got my long range fuel...

Should the slide not be at the hand brake side? Personally I would remove the spacer the clearance for the slide looks to little to me.

The next thing I am trying to get my hands on is a Camel trophy full length roof rack, or the specs to build one, but it seems much easier said than done. Anybody out there that could help, will really deeply be appreciated. Thanx

I use to wire up the hand brake lever from the HT coil so when they get it running they get the shocking experience and usually bail after the second attempt to release the hand brake.

It is illegal to work on a aircon without a license in OZ, cannot buy gas without a license, and cannot buy well you can buy gas on internet but wont be shipped or pass customs, so you wont see it ever. I know filling the system is fairly safe but you should still know what you are doing...

The blower motor will always work if all is good, the A/C is separately switched. What type of gas in your A/C, R12 or has she been converted to R134a. If R12 PLEASE do not attempt to test pressures by yourself, A/C gas is not friendly and R12 is extremely bad for the environment. Then just a...
