    Fecking terminal block bodges!

Solder joints also leave an area where flexible meets solid and this area is prone to breakage. I use crimp joints with pre fitted heat shrink and glue, they are VW approved but are not cheap. If I have to use bullets I fill them with grease.

    CB recommendations on what's good!

I had a nice setup in my last 90 but can't remember what it was! I'm planning to go for the rear aerial mount and a big spring type aerial! The radio itself would help if its small as space is tight! Any ideas?

    Td5 electrics poggle me

Try it with the rear light bulbs disconnected to see if they are shorting to the sidelights and back feeding the dim dip. They may of lost their ground. If not then disconnect the dim dip relay to see if the fault stops, it may of lost an earth. Keep is informed

Td5 engine does not start after flywheel replacement

As mentioned a draining battery or something that is making the starter motor draw more current. It happened on track car I was building where during cranking the voltage dropped so low the ecu suffered and struggled to start the engine for the initial large current draw of the starter. To...

Never ending brake bleeding series 3

Have you replaced the rear wheel cylinders by chance? I did some last week and tried 3 pairs of cheap alloy cylinders before I got hold of some cast iron bodied OEM items, they blead up first time! The cheap alloy ones were sucking in all all the time! Lesson learnt!

Clutch master cylinder replaced 3 times
