Sorry guys - it's a she by the way. Hence why I know nothing about all this..... I put the key in the ignition and turn it but the engine physically won't start, or even make a noise. Not even a click. Just deadly silent?!

It's a 3 litre diesel. The key turns in the switch but the engine won't start / fire up. Is the fuel pump expensive to replace or fix? Thanks!
