I have a problem with a flat battery when the Disco 300tdi is left overnight....I got a friend to put a meter on the battery when it was ticking over and it was showing as 16-17 volts going in so I think the alternator is not as it should be and shorting out when the engine is stopped...

I spotted 10lt "boxes" of sun flower oil in Tesco's today for £12...... anyone know of anything/anywhere cheaper? From what I read it's ok for me to throw in say 20lt to my tank that has about just over a quarter tank of diesel.....just checking...:)
