just thought does anybody know how the special fitting tool works for setting up the xyz switch on a td5 auto disco,

driving along lost drive after a small vibration, there was a small tapping noise on tick over just before i pulled off, but did not think much of it. no drive in anygear but the tapping niose has stopped and the engine ticks over and revs nice,just no drive any ideas where to start looking...

just been to my landy and the wipers front and back wont stop they just keep going till i turn off the key any ideas pls thanks..

hi i found that my 200tdi was running a bit ruff and a lot of smoke when i got to the first junction about 100 yrds . found the bottom crank pully lose, striped it to find the first wood ruff key had gone and the second on all in bits, so replaced the cambelt and keys but still running ruff...

hi there anybody no if the xy switch was faulty would i just lose reverse any imput would be great thanks woody..

hi there, help needed my td5 auto wont reverse, in low range it trys to but when you rev to go a bit quicker it just revs higher any ideas have changed the autobox oil and fillter. any help thanks wayne..

hi there can any one telll me if this can be done, i have a good 200tdi engine in the garage and my mate wants it for his 300tdi thats just blown its head gasket,i have a bell housing from the lt77gearbox any help would be great thanks wayne..

had a funny feeling that my disco was slowly getting lower at the rear over say a week or so.. so pressed the off road button to lift it, nothing happened just kept flashing on the dash board, so i helped it with my hi lift jack on the tow bar up to the off road hight the light stoped...

Hi there, first post great web site only my sls is down at the rear i can just get my hand flat on the tyre under the wheel arch. Looked on this site they all say press off road button then soapy water. But mine wont go up it just stays low. Where do i start looking pls help thanks woody...
