Any ideas how i can get some wires from the roof bars into the rear of my freebie.
I have roof rails (3 door) so im thinking easiest and non permanent damage to vehicle.
Just came up with the idea of black insulation tape all the way down the rear roof rails into the car via the removable...
Let me/us know how you get on with sleeping in the back. Your making me want to remove my rear seats here. Right pain when you give mates a lift and there ungreatfull.
Bit of ply wood on the floor in mine and it wouldn't be far from being a van
Did you know insa turbo tyres are re-moulds? Have you had remoulds before
Not good at balancing up. Tend to shake some what at higher speeds.
Although get ones which balance up alright and there shouldn't be a problem.
Van looks good though. Would suit me more a van, just that 10% of the time...
I did mine. But failed on the rear dropping window.
May try again sometime but it doesn't bother me. Easier to see out of reversing into the drive at night
Me to im interested.
Its hard to mount a winch to a freelander, expensive to do so and it wouldn't get used enough...
But a setup which is cheaper, takes less space, and can mount to different vehicles interests me
Can i ask, How about arc welders?
Any easier to use compared to gas mig welder. is it more like soldering, more smoother and doesn't tend to catch/stick so easily?
Will be my welding skill's which make it stick but im just curious.
Hill descent control won't help you at all pulling trailers etc out into fields. It purely stops the car from going out of control down steep slippy hills. YouTube has a few videos on it from landrover
Traction control would help but I would first off suggest you buy a good set of all terrain...
:flame2: Atleast you don't have to buy matches with a new freebie, goes up automatically haha
still wouldn't want to swop/sell mine i like its faults really :hysterically_laughi
