Wires from roof bars to inside

Any ideas how i can get some wires from the roof bars into the rear of my freebie.

I have roof rails (3 door) so im thinking easiest and non permanent damage to vehicle.

Just came up with the idea of black insulation tape all the way down the rear roof rails into the car via the removable roof seal joining to the actual body.


I already have some orange flashing lights (highway's style) but also want to put a rear flood light for working in the dark

id thought about drilling holes in the roof bars and running wires in that way, and possbily into roof under the bar cover, not decided yet, got to make my roof rack first before any lights go on

go down the drivers side and down the back there should be a grommet down the door pillar go in there I also took one of the bolts out of the roof bars and went in that way but this is on a 5 door .hope this helps

I taped my wires down the side of the windscreen for my roof lights and went in the bonnet by the hinges, but that's the other end so no use to you!

what ever way you do it make sure you have a u shape at the bottom of your wires before going into the car that way will stop any water going in .
