    Hello. Im having a problem with my discovery 96 auto. When going up hill gearbox wants to change up a gear,revs drop off but dosent change gear. Ease off throttle and the revs pick up again. Only happens when going into top gear. Has anybody got any ideas? Thanks

    Hi. Thanks. Ive taken instrument cluster suround off and gained access to the multiplug behind instrument cluster. Not sure where to start looking. Dont want to make things worse. Are the light storks prone to failure?

    Hello. The lights on the dash board and instrument cluster sometimes go out when driving with lights turned on. The head lights also fliker slightly sometimes. Dash lights sometimes go out the come back on and sometimes do not come back on. Any ideas where i should start looking for the fault...

    Hello. It was the compressor that was unpluged the sensors were left connected. When new sensor was fitted the battery was disconected.. Leveled car up on jacks but when inflated thereis a 50 mm differance. Is there any way to level up without having it recalibrated? Thanks

    Hello.left bags inflated with sensors unpluged as sugested. Bags stayed inflated. Got around to fitting new sensor today. There is 50mm differance between heights on each side. Is there any way to get the suspension level? Thanks

    Hello. Wired up the air suspension and valves as diagram supplied by sierraferry. Got compressor and valves worked. Got both sides i flated. Started engine and disco levelled its self up. Stopped and started engine air bags stopped at the same height. Went for a short test drive. All ok...

    All the doors were shut. The airbag fully inflated when sensor arm broke so all door sensors should be ok.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Ive looked at diagram and i can see what i need to put power to. I will make up the wires required. Just woke up from nights and not quite with it when i posted. Thanks for your help.

    Hello. Thanks. I will trace wiring and try and inflate bags one side at a time. Do you know which wires operate valves to open? Having got a wiring at the moment. I will also get a couple of the valves you have have sugested. Cheers

    Ok thanks. Is it possible to supply power to pump and valves? Need to get back end up to get to garage to check and have faults cleared.

    Hello. No didnt unplug the sensor. I reatached sensor arm temporarily. I was tbinking off putting 12 v straight to pump to see if it still works and to lift back end up. Thanks

    Hello. The air suspension is not working on my disco. The sensor arm on the passenger side snapped allowing air bag to fully inflate on that side. I set sensor into a lower postion to get back end down. Both sides have now fully deflated and will not go back up. The compressor is not starting...

    Hello. Thanks for the replies. Hub pressed apart quite easily. Ii looks like anew hub is needed. I hope this sorts out grinding noise. Im not convinced the hub is at fault.

    Hello. Ive got a discovery 2. Theres a loud grinding noise coming from front wheel. Replaced discs and pads as they were worn. Still had same noise. Removed hub. Felt ok when turning. Split hub to check bearings. They apear to be ok. Has any body got any ideas? Was going to clean hub bearings...

    Painting

    Think I'm going to steer clear of the enamel paint. Drying and during times are to long. It's got to be a quick job over a weekend. Priced up base coat and clear coat at local autosupplies and its not much more for there paint that is suitable for spraying at home. Thanks for the advice.
