No the nut in centre of brake drum is tight but 3"-4" play as you move brake drum back and forward

Just fitted auto box in 88 defender runs great changing up & down no problem then it started to make this clanging noise when coming to a stop from the back end,took the rear prop off all u/js fine noticed then the two grub screws on handbrake drum were loose thread locked them in put prop back...

Now sorted there are locating dowels on both autobox & transfer case,took dowels off one side and it fits perfect now all in and bolted up only got props,kickdown cable & oil cooler & pipes to do now & it's good to go.

Just in middle of auto conversion on 300 tdi got the autobox in no problem,come to fit transfer box on it fits spline but is 5mm short of mating together to bolt up,examined the manual box spline and the shoulder is 5mm shorter than the autobox which has a bolt on the end which when undone the...

Just replaced the outside door handle cable working fine inside and out until I locked it with key fob now it won't open inside or out,button goes up and down but nothing is there anyway to open door without damaging door or door card.atb Ed
