I've been writing up how I did mine but this was mainly based on Patman's as mentioned earlier. I'll post it once finished hopefully tomorrow. The alternator plug is different - you just cut the 200TDI connector off and use crimp terminals. I used the original TD airbox and it works just great :D

Nice one! :) Feels good the 1st start up doesn't it :D A week and a half on from my conversion I'm really really pleased and it just gets better as you tweak a few bits and pieces. Has totally transformed the Landy :)

Well I'm sure it would be possible but would be LOADS more hassle to mount and plumb in another intercooler than just alter the radiator mounts. All you have to do is angle grind the mount tops off, grind 3cm off what's left, and then reweld the tops back on. Even with my awful welding skills it...

In my 90 I kept the original transfer box as most people do so I don't think the Disco slave cyclinder will fit. On my donor Disco it's certainly mounted in a different place (opposite side) and looks different anyway. Of course if you have a Disco transfer box in your Defender and a Disco too...
