Is there a SAT NAV System that records routes

Yep, GPSed is free and works really well. Only time it messed up is when I forgot to start it up but at least it realised and drew a straight line between last point and next ;) You can set it to just record and then upload at the end or upload at regular intervals (think it was down to 30...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Used the 90 to tow the old engineless Disco out of my garage (that donated it's 200TDi engine) and loaded it onto a trailer for the guy that bought it... I have my garage back at last :D

Is there a SAT NAV System that records routes

I've used Memory Map alot on a PDA phone which is great for walking/cycling etc but not really had chance to use it for greenlanes as not been out much unfortunately :( No reason why it shouldn't be as good though :) I also used the following Map your tracks and photos, share your position from...

    Project anyone?

I'd agree - I've got my donor Disco on Fleabay at the mo and got offered 200 quid for it in first couple of days. Just the major bits I added up in parts came to over 500 quid - just wish I had the time and space to strip it myself :( Land Rover Discovery for spares - NO RESERVE! on eBay (end...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Just used it to collect a couple of sacks of chicken food and 4 bales of hay... looks like a proper Landy now with bits of hay hanging out of the rear door :D Alternator belt has started squealing now so I guess it has worn in, stretched, and needs adjusting now...

Help! Key just broke in fuel cap

Cheers for the ideas, I managed to make my journey there and back with the fuel I had left so I didn't have to resort to violence (not yet anyway!). At least I now have time to sort it tomorrow morning without being in a mad rush. Well, I'll just be in a rush to go out playing in the snow...

how much for a tow :)

Helped a couple of cars out now just for the fun of it. Best was my neighbour trying to get 2 tonnes (and 100k!!!) of AMG S class Merc up the snow covered track by the side of our house this afternoon. Took some getting going even with low ratio and difflock but once moving was fine :) Also...

    Reverse light not working

I noticed last week that my reverse light had stopped working and assumed it just needed adjusting as that is all it needed last year when the same thing happened - but no... I tried adjusting the switch and it made no difference so I went back to basics and checked the bulb. Bulb was...

    Conversion Progress

I used the 200TDi filter housing with my 200TDi engine and the problem was just that the length of the pipes meant it couldn't be mounted on the bulkhead. I then just lengthened the pipes using the 8mm fuel pipe and all is fine. Are you still using the old TD filter as apparently you need to...

    Conversion Progress

I'm not sure about Pos but I just extended the existing lines using 8mm id (internal diameter) fuel pipe. This was then sleeved over the existing pipe and secured with small jubilee clips. Like this... Think it cost me about a fiver for a metre length which was easily enough. Hope this...
