I found the workshop manual to download at Download PDF Land Rover Defender 90/110 Service Manual | PDFTown.com but the 2nd book file is corrupt. Of course sods law states that the book I need to look in is the corrupt one!!!!! Is there anywhere else I can download the uncorrupt version...

Thanks for all the info. I bought all the stuff today and downloaded the workshop manual earlier. It all looks pretty easy though doesn't it always in manuals as they don't show rusted/sheared bolts etc - lol!!! I'll let you know how I get on and amazingly I'm actually looking forward to doing...
