New Landy - Help with list of things to check/replace this weekend!

Cheers for the extra pointers but today has been a bit of a nightmare. I've just come in from the garage feeling cold and hacked off :mad::mad: I loosened the bleed nipple but bob all was coming out of it when manually (or cranking the engine with starter) using the lever on the fuel pump...

New Landy - Help with list of things to check/replace this weekend!

Ok, so I got most of it done with no real problems - still a few bits left to do though as always  The only problem I'm now having is starting it after changing the fuel filter. I loosened the top and pumped the primer until fuel came out and then tightened that back up. I opened...

Help! New owner with a big problem already!

Many thanks to everyone for all your help and suggestions - the good news is that I'm pretty sure I've found the problem! :) It looks like it is the handbrake is the issue that a few of you suggested. I tested it by putting the handbrake on and couldn't move the transmission drum (as...

Help! New owner with a big problem already!

Nope I'm pretty sure it isn't the handbrake - we did think that maybe the brakes were binding or something when I'd stopped but were able to push the car no problem - as I set off though the juddering was still awful. As the car hasn't been used for a couple of months I expected this to be the...
