hi all help please.which way round do the vac hoses go on my td4 turbo vacuum tank. at the moment the hose to the turbo soliniod is at the back and the hose that goes the brake servo is at the front end of tank.is this correct or does it make no differance

hi all yet another problem i have.td4 2006 got a whining noise inside car becomes more noisy around 50 to 80 kms per hr.open windows not coming from outside cant pinpoint it.had the prob since got the car 6 months ago and got no worse today had machanic have it on lift prop ok wheel bearings ok...

problem with td4 2006.help please any ideascar drives good when engine warmed up,but when after start up from cold pull away and around 2000 rpm i get a miss fire/loss of power for about 5second then car is ok and drives good for rest of trip any ideas please

help please,since i have had my freelander 1 td4 2006 now for 6 months allways on start up glow plug light comes on for limited time as should do.today glow plug light not going on at all every time i start car, do i have a fault or is this normal now outside temp. is above15to20centigrade

question,freelander1 td4 2006 problem with engine at weekend,found to be bad connection on fuel pressure sw.with warning light coming on,all ok now,question is took car to garage to clear any fault code on obd2,the ecu would not allow entry to engine managment diog.all other areas of car eg abs...

thanks nodge68 found problem.turned out to be faulty plug on fuel pressure senser,cleaned connecters and closed turmials,sorted light out going ok thanks again

went too help mate with flat tire last night go sorted. on way home my freelander td4 stopped and no go,had to call my mate to tow me home. tried to start today got going but not good dash engine light staying on the one with ! in the symbol any ideas please

thanks all ,new engine breather to plus erg valve cleaned plus maf cleaned, new inter cooler pipes ordered and will get some injector cleaner. will come back with results soon thanks again everyone

hi there all, help and advice please.freelander td4 2006when engine running on cold miss firing arounld 2000rpm. fine when hot.plus car runs fine for about 50kms and then starts to lose power pulling away plus light throttle lose power again,put my boot down big puff of black smoke and goes...

noise sounds like clutch plate rubbing on pressure plate,noise only started after new clutch and bearing fitted some 100 mile ago.

2006 td4 clutch sounds noisy on bite point if you listen from outside car ounce moving nothing

Does new clutch need bedding in or not??
