I have a Freelander 1 pre-facelift td4 53 plate. I have been looking for any grease nipples to apply fresh grease to but haven’t found any. Are there any on the fl1? If not then what would be a good idea to regularly grease.

Where is the compressor clutch feed? Is it one of the wires in the pictures?

It was some e else who Picked it up for me and they know a lot less about cars than I do so I will ask the mechanic when I take it back in next week for more work. In the mean time I will look to see if there are any fuses I can remove and I’ll look to see if the clutch feed is still connected.

Yes. In order to fix I would have to travel to another town to get de-gassed then back to my garage to have a new u it fitted and then back to another town to be re-gassed. That’s why the mechanic disconnected it as he knows that I don’t have hundreds to spend in a non vital element to the car.

True. I have clonk when going over bumps especially whilst turning and so far I’m renewing bits of suspension constantly chasing it.
