any tips on engine removal from scrap disco i have undone all of the studs & bolts but it doesunt want to let go so easily .the mount studs dont clear on lift will i have to cut them away from ftom the chassis?

no cant get my hand in ! centre console so far i have started to break away through the plastic & heater but its a long way forward .looking at photos i can find online i think there is only one bolt top dead centre. i have not lowered the box yet i was hopeing to lift the engine straight out...

there were no tabs top left & right but i cant even tell if there is top bolt in !

and there doesunt seem to be a way for the wobely to go .did all the others with it !

no i only want the motor dont know if the clutch was done but has 160000 on clock .started to cut through dash but its way down.may be better to cut from outside ie do some opencast but i think there must be a better way !

i have just fitted a hitch to my 3 lightweight . 12mm holes on chassis 4no.i made a box section bottom support welded to cross member & used 16mm bolts 2no.then unistrut heavy gauge .rather than drill through the chassis i made 2no plates with the 12 mm bolts welded on then welded the plates on...

any advice on front diff drive seal change . ie can this be done on small drive up ramps is there enough room ?series 3 lightweight

diff drive seal repacement .will it be difficult to fit new front diff drive seal from under the landy on ramps ie little ramps ? will ther be enough space

are the axles narower than standard lr ?
