are series headlamps the same as 90s ? before i go ordering the wrong ones .could do with puting some halogen lamps on and have ordered a relay loom to acomodate.the lamps are listed separately on ebay

this ones a transit smiley engine ,think it creates vacume for the egr valve ,but ill take another look to make sure the brakes work ok .,thanks for the tip reg mick

did the switch but still no park & gets to melt the cable on slow .think the relay tip will be best !

today found the fume culprit . twas air starvation from the butterfly inlet assembly .so i pulled it out .now no smoke at all !

ebay £10 .bit posh for real landy ! ill have a look at the switch and keep the post .thanks for the reply gentlemen .

put a new wiper motor on . so run it on fast & undone opened with no load to watch.2nd speed setting no problem .1st speed setting goes round to the switch strugles gets going again so on but resistance sets up in the earth return and its time to put it back on to no 2 to save a melt down .there...

theres a 2a panel on ebay £500 . there is only 2 plates to make mine the same !

yes i could . but if some one knows the diameter . i can do all the prep before i start .ie get a hole cutter etc! and the grill i have got is not worth a button ! and there is no cost atall ! thanks

i know what you mean .its a 1971 series 3 .and no one cares !it doesunt need a mot and it spends its life in the fields.but before i take them out i want to make the plates so if anyone knows the diameter please let me know & ill get a hole cutter before i start ! thanks for all the replies ...

i am thinking of giving my series 3 lightweight the series 2 look ie lights in the grill .any one know off hand what size hole to cut out for the lights .will make the plates with alluminium !

thanks . i have given it a manifold gasket .no better .have taped over the welded ends on the flexi dont know how that was done unless its galv .no better .plenty of holes in the floor to work on 2" gaps under the doors to let the water out .ime going to try blowing air into the system with old...

just noticed that the wiper motor strugles the blows fuse on the slow motion but not on fast ! theres another on ebay for £25 .but first anyone got clue why this happens .i noticed the lights flickering on seqence .sugesting low emf .any one ?

theres a flexi genarator type pipe welded below the manifold . i will check the joint out in a little more detail though ! but when its warmed up its better or less nocuous.but with the tail gate down & pulling away the tilt draws in . i dont think ill use a stack pipe at the mo .ill have a go...
