I did try this but the only thing that this did was when I selected interior lights off the beeping seemed to stop. Actualy reconnecting the battery fix the interior lights problem but has not fixed my indicator lights flashing when locking or unlocking.

By the way the beeping has stopped since I disconnected and reconnected the battery, but now I still don't know why the indicators have stopped flashing on lock and unlock.... I'm just wondering if I get a eka lockout then don't I need to refer to the flashes to know when to input my key sequence?

But this setting of flashing indicators for locking and unlocking can just vanish by changing an interior bulb? Amazing.

Indicator on for ages means it going to go out of sync, I noticed this on mine. Soon after I had to buy a syncmate which sorted my problem. I guess I have to disconnect my battery tomorrow and see if that fixes it.

Don't know too much about the matrix or the o rings, but could you use slightly thicker silicone o rings instead? They compress better and don't go brittle and then leak? Maybe?
