fuel light? thats posh. mines a 74 model and its empty when it reads a quarter full. A fuel light sounds very modern. i like that.

Scrappy, hunting engine would upset the oil pressure. Is it more of an erratic idle or does the RPM rythymically build and plummet? Worn distributor shaft gives rise to erratic idles but possibly air leak in the inlet manifold may cause symptoms. carb may have partial blockage in the idle...

its an old reverse gear. Ive built a few series gearboxes and have been lucky with reverse as I never changed them out. but I did fit a new needle roller bearing on this one. I thought the fork setup was correct but not sure. i havent pulled the top off again. the strange thing is it didn't do...

Was doing a look around, found brake fluid under the drivers side wing. looked at the brake and clutch master cylinder and couldnt see much in the way of leakage. Is this common that when the master cylinder is cactus that it leaks under the guard? Any info appreciated.

On the choke cable there is a plastic unit there with 2 wires coming out. Can someone tell me what that is and what it does? Something to do with the yellow light on the dash! Choke thingo. :D
