I was not aware of a date code but I will look for it. I can't see anyone going to land rover for a replacement screen and paying extra for a heated one.. I'll look at that site too thank you

I thought the same, I just thought it was weird as it says land rover on it. I'm going to look for the wiring at weekend. Fingers crossed

It's weird as the windscreen says land rover on it so it looks genuine? Strange? Mine definatly has a blank where the heated switch would be

Yes that's what I was thinking as nothings straight forward on these. Hopefully someone on here may of had the same problem and it might not be too hard to do? I will look for the wiring later to see if it's there

Yes, it should have a separate button to heat the screen. Mine just has a blower lie normal cars. The button is a blank in my car. It definatly has the elements in the glass tho? I was kind of hoping the wiring would be there and I could add a switch and get it so working. "Wishful thinking"

Hi i have a 2006 range rover sport, it's the basic model and has a heated windscreen but just the glass? There's no switch to turn it on. Maybe it's an aftermarket one fitted I'm not sure? Is this normal? I'm assuming I won't be able to add a switch as he wiring won't be there? Any help would...

Hi guys, I have a 2006 basic model range rover sport. I have noticed it doesn't have a separate button for the heated front screen yet it has a heated windscreen fitted? Will the wiring be there just not the button I'm confused? Maybe it's had the wrong aftermarket screen fitted in the past?
