Most of the settings can be altered time wise. may need main dealers to test on there diagnostic system and see if any settings have reset to a shorter setting, the "START ENGINE" is a sign of moved settings too. :) As above take it baack to the Dealers.

Well the only difference between off roading and on road is speed and tork I think theres more preasure and load on the engine off roading, its then finding small faults that dont show when on road (Not a bad answer to say im multy tasking) :D

Just a quick question ... what model gearbox is fitted to a 2002 p38 auto vogue? ive got one that needs fault reading but i need the software to do it and i beleve there are 3 types of box, the car is 60 miles away and i could do a full scan there to find the model but then id have to come home...

Yes what KDS said but have someone at rear of car pressing the tailgate button and pull open, this has known to work. :)
