I have removed the running boards from my 97 p38 all ok no snaped bolts etc, now when i got under my 99 p38 to fit them i find there are no threaded holes. There are holes but look like they need some sort of threaded gromit fitting into the holes so i can fit the brackets. Is there a gromit or...

the ground for the input is the first connection to the left of the fuse box on the BeCM as you put it, it screws to the body under the carpet. :)

p38. My drivers mirror gose down when i select reverse but when i go back to park it stays down (i can move it back with the switchpack button), the passangers mirror is fine, works both ways, where do i start looking for a faulty sensor. :)

Now now Rick... he was not for sending the Becm to anyone as its MOT was due and had axcess to a 2nd Becm, Even i calnt charge fuel to there, if i had the Becm it would be working in no time. But i dont like swiming the Irish sea. :D:amen:

only 200 miles away....check for bad earths, is the carpet wet under the drivers foot area? sounds like damp moist problems causing a bad earth. :)

Have you tried removing the plugs to the Becm one by one till the noise stops then look at what that plug serves and your onthe right road to solving your drain. :)
