Indeed it does but my question concerns the valve controling the pressure that is fed to the actuator cylinder perhaps i should mention this is on a td5. Engineer:):)

Is it neccessary to have the vacuum side of the valve connected i asume it is to open the gate should the inlet get slightly blocked however i would prefer to connect the pressure pipe direct and eliminate the valve. Engineer:):)

Been playing with hawkeye and no. 3 and no. 5 injectors have roughness spikes up to -17 on the overrun other wise fine,truck runs fine smooth etc. Good mileage so i imagine its a case to much knowledge, just drive the thing. Engineer:):)

Fitted ebay silicone hoses to mine to eliminate a possible leak seemed fine to me well shaped. Engineer:):)

I suspect i have a leak all be it small somewhere between the turbo and the manifold but havent been able to find it any problem areas to look at first. Engineer:):)

My take is that the injectors are to prescision to put anything other than derv in the tank just an aside the td5 is not common rail as fuel is delivered to the injectors at relatively low pressure the cam shaft operates the pressurising and the valve is opened electronically bit of a mixture...

My td5 has an air flow at tick over around 60 kg/hr according to hawkeye does this seem right Engineer:):)

I use at2 good on road and round the farms and boat yards my td5 returns around 33 but it has been chipped by mike and all the usual upgrades. Engineer:):)

I have just run a check and hawkeye tells me i have a cm rom error but what exactly is the cm it is listed in the menu as cm check,once you are in the system once the error has been flashed on the screen the tick is flashing press the tick just seems to go round in circles any help much...

No they are an independant but they had one or two issues rusted bolts on cross member,in the original build some wires had been trapped in the bellhousing which had to be replaced so not so bad and this was as i indicated the estimate will advise when bill comes through. Engineer:):)
