    well i've put £25 in so far it's creeping up to 100 miles, and the light isn't on yet...seems to have settled down for some reason :confused: will still monitor it, the best bet is all the ****ty little runs i do, which is not helping

    MPG increase after removing EGR

    Mine has also shot up dramatically since the egr removal, i don't know exactly how much but, i always seem to be putting diesel in it now, as before nowhere near as much

    I was just concerned something may be wrong after reading all the posts it seems like the norm, so it has put my mind at rest a little, there is nothing worse in my mind than wasting money when something can be fixed. thanks everybody, i feel alot better about it now, you know how annoying it...

    will do that i think if i knew 22-25 MPG was normal then i wouldn't mind so much, it's the fact if there is something wrong with it that i can fix for say £30-£40 i don't see the point in ignoring it, if i can fix it and save a bit of cash, that in my mind would be a false economy

    I have 235/70 16 BFG T/A tyres on the car, i changed the air/fuel & oil filter about a month ago and new oil,the handbrake seems nice and free when released, nothing really seems like it's binding, the MPG seemed better before the de EGR but i'm not sure what it was exactly, it could be...

    I have decatted it, and removed the egr, i first noticed it when the EGR was removed not sure if it's anything to do with that, or maybe something more sinister...hope not

    mine seemed too small too until i put a jubilee clip either side...see my pic...mine wasn't a tight fit :)

    i know my username is new2landies but i have learnt a thing or two in the last month from the forum and working on mine, they are certainly different from any other car :) i still need to learn alot more but happy looking at the forum and reading other peoples posts for advice :) incidently...
