    went to put new rear wiper blade on mine, only to discover the rear wiper motor has stopped working, at the exact time i touched it, took the motor unit apart, all looked good cleaned the commutator on the motor, then had to make up a new brush as i mangled the existing one putting the motor...

    sounds ok for a disco... but so far you've just noticed the obvious things, soon enough you'll notice something quite often, i thought mine was great...well it wasn't that good, after having it for a few months now, i seem to know what needs doing, make a list, of things that need doing...

    just buy a de-cat pipe from somewhere they are about £18 odd quid maybe cheaper, easier than cutting and welding, unless that floats your boat of coarse :D

    i was thinking of this place :: Adams Gas :: i read that pub Co2 contains nitrogen as well as Co2, but will have a look around to see if i can source some Co2 in a more manageable size, after i have exhausted the one i have, and returned it to the supplier

    cheers for that,yes it's mig, i wouldn't want to waste the gas as it's full so i'll use it then get a smaller CO2 type i think i assume it was his because he told me how much he paid for the bottle :) cheers

    i buy Britpart, as i run my landy on a shoestring and it suits my budget, if the part fails, i'll just replace it, like lots of other people who buy patented parts, it might not be cost effective in the longrun, but this is how far my budget for parts stretch, after all the genuine parts aint...
