The installed satnav likes a good battery. If your 03 has the original fit battery a change might help the satnav. It certainly worked with our HSE.

I am wondering if the coolant on petrol and diesel Freelanders is pressurised the same amount. This is controlled by the filler cap spring. Does anyone know if different caps are specified for different models or does one size fit all?

My son bought a V6 Premium 6 years ago. Not bothered about fuel consumption as working from home. Circumstances changed, been doing 500 miles / week mostly on M25 for last 18 months! Nice comfortable quiet car, only problem is mpg. I think with the tax on fuel he has nearly paid off the UK's...

Contacts appear ok, resoldered just in case but no joy. Will use the other fob as I do like the convenience of a remote. Someone is advertising a fob refurb at £40 but it's not worth spending that for a spare. Thank you all for the advice.
