Last year I drove to Chamonix which is about 700miles on the Thursday / Friday and returned Monday, after sitting in sub-zero temps - another 700 miles with no problems at all!! Only stopped for fuel.

I've reconnected the demister and it seems ok - although I haven't tried to lower the window all the way down....

The VERY 1st thing I did when I got my FL was to ditch the stereo / sat-nav. You're best of getting a standalone sat nav - they're cheaps as chips these days. I assume you had the disc in at the time.....??

Either go to the stealers or a VERY good independant.....otherwise you're gonna waste ya money..... This is only after my experience with my Alfa, but I assume it's the same with most....

I thought that was true just for alloys, due to the offset. Steelies from an FL1 will fit any FL1 - happy to be corrected....

Had thought of that, but I think what gave it away was that he was behind me and we were going uphill in a forward motion!!! My physics is a tad rusty, but I think that means I was towing him - happy to be proved wrong though....:D
